THE LOGO
Layered with a lot of meaning , the logo was co-created by Ceci and artist Kate Lumley. The logo is a representation of Ceci’s giving, compassionate nature.
The top of the logo is dedicated to Ceci’s “Hippo”. Her companion since 2010. The 2 “Cs: Ceci Cares” create a HEART, representing Ceci’s love to help others. The golden upside down “F: Foundation” creates the illusion of a key. The key to unlock others heart’s to help, thus, creating our slogan, “CARING is the KEY”.
Hippo
Ceci’s life-long companion. Born in 2010, Hippo has been with Ceci for all of her life journeys. “Hippo” sleeps, vacations and goes along with Ceci to all her Dr.’s and hospital appointments. “Hippo” gives Ceci a since of comfort, safety and unconditional love.
“Hippo” is known throughout Texas Children’s Hospital as he never leaves Ceci’s side with she needs a friend to hold her hand.
